Last week I posted about 5 things I needed to start...well, I started 3 of them and then added 1 more:
1. mitts for my cousin in Germany ü
6. Converse socks for my aunt ü
Here they are......
Yes, I know...they are all just barely started.....but they are started because I had a big case of startitis!
Also, did you notice that my socks were on DPN's? Well, they are Darlene's Signature DPN's...and every once in a while I feel like trying DPN's and then I try them and remember how much I like magic loop better.....so these are back on magic loop....here is my progress on one of them being moved to magic loop....and thank you to Darlene for always letting me borrow her DPN's every once in a while!
Now, I may have started 4 things, but I did finish 2 things (hey, half ain't bad).
I finished the socks for Chris:
And the mitts for me :)
I do have a few stash enhancements too.....Darlene got me this awesome gauge ruler....you put it over your knitting and if the drawings on the ruler match your knitting, you found your gauge :)
Then, I got a package from the UK...this is for the Hiya Hiya Product Swap....Pauline (aka kisho on ravelry) send me this awesome yarn, notepad and CHOCOLATE.....if you look really close, the chocolate package with Santa on it has a knit pattern in the background....I love it! I am waiting on one last HiyaHiya Swap Package.
A couple of weeks ago I got the cutest ornament from a knitting friend....I forgot to show you because it went straight onto my tree....well, I took my tree down yesterday and I had to take a picture to show you. Inside this ornament is a pair of knitting needles, longhorn orange yarn and cream yarn with a little label on it that makes it look like a Miss Babs Skein of yarn and I note that says In case of Emergency, BREAK GLASS Christmas 2015.....Thank you Debbie! You are so wonderful, I am thankful to know you and have you as a friend!
My last stash enhancement is not knitting related....it is my Christmas gift from Jaime....it has a long story behind it that I will not type out, but it is a pair of wireless headphones for me to use at work. I love them! I have been using them all day!
Well, that is all I have.....I hope everyone has a fantastic New Year with lots of new Projects and lots of new Finished Objects! Do you have any new Years Resolutions?
Happy Happy Happy Knitting!
