Too Many Yarn Purchases??

 Hey everyone....how have you been?   I have been well.  I am trying to keep more up to date om this blog.....20 days is not ideal, but I am trying.

I have been trying not to buy a lot of yarn this past year or two....but I feel like I have let that slide recently.....so I thought I would share some yarn purchases.

First some cotton.....knit picks dishie...new colors:

I got my monthly blanket yarn

I have been purchasing some sock yarn to hopefully get me off my arse and to start cranking some socks.

I had to share some pics of Antonio.....plus, he won 1st place at his bike rodeo

I had dinner with my mom, dad and sister.....us 3 ladies holding our drinks up to my daddy!

I was eatting an orgnanic rainbow carrot the other day and noticed it matched my Love Note....which I finished by the way

I made another one of those fuzzy cowls in Pink for Chloe (Paige's friend, Sam's, daughter).

I have been working on Trenton's child's blanket

I am almost done with Abdiel's (Celeste's brother) blanket:

I also started a Highland Cow....Darlene's grandaughter, Kagan, wants one so we are both making one...I will give mine to Jackson as a toy

Lastly, I want to try to make some tunisian crochet kitchen towels and potholders for Paige...the Merci Cloth by Toni Lipsey...it is barely started and these addi click hooks do not slide well (or maybe it is the dishie yarn)....but we will see how it goes

I have really been enjoying a running series on my new treadmill...this trainer's story is truly inspirational (he just completed the Boston Marathon after fighting cancer)

April Awesomeness!

 Hey everyone!  How are y'all?  I hope you are awesome!

I have been doing well.....I got some new cotton yarn.  

If it looks familiar, it should.  I got 2 skeins of this Koi colorway yarn last year but the picture of the knitted up finished item was much different than what I got.  Mine was darker.  So I decided to order more of it and ask the dyer to make it lighter (like the knitted up picture).  I am much happier with this yarn and cant wait to not only frog the sweater I started...but restart with this yarn.

I finished the monthly blanket with left overs in each color

I started my lovenote for the KAL with #purledintexas

I also started two baby blankets....one for Celeste's newest Brother, Abdiel....due in May and one for Trenton's baby due later this year or early next year.

I took a picture of my babies working hard in the office with me....LOL!

And lastly we had a family dinner for my uncle's 65th birthday...Happy Birthday Uncle George (center top row)!
