I feel like the whole theme this year has been "what happened to the time?" I have been so behind all year on getting posts done in time and just getting stuff done in general. Hopefully next year will be better!
This post is going to be super quick because I really need to be knitting on Christmas presents!
First....thanksgiving was great....here is some of my amazing family!
Second....I made a headband that is the SQUISHYIST headband ever!
I started a hat for me with some amazing colors...but this hat has since been put on the back burner.
I ordered an advent kit because I do not have a present to make for Darlene for her Birthday in January. I thought I could keep up with this...but I am fearful this blanket will not be big enough....which is sad because it is pretty much equal to 5 skeins of yarn (and costs a lot).....the 2nd picture is up to the 11th day. I still have 1 more days...but I am not sure if this blanket will be big enough....we will see!
I finished my November blanket of the month and now I just wait on December's to arrive.
My great friend, Jennifer, got me this note pad...I love it! It is perfect for me (and her)!
Then it was time to make the annual ornamnt exchange ornament! I made a gnome with this kit I got last year...the gnome on the right is the one I used in the exchange. The ornament in the 3rd image I saved for me.
Here we are at the Christmas party! Great friends, food and fun!
Then I needed to whip out a hat as a gift for Lupe's Dad (his birthday)....
Here is my decorated tree with my first cup of tea from my advent calendar Darlene gets me every year, and Jackson in the beautiful fall leaves....plus an amazing gift from my friend, Elizabeth. I got a great David and Harney gift from Jennifer, but alas, I have already eaten it before I got a picture! What can I say...I am a fatty!
Merry Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year!
Happy Happy Happy Knitting
