Can you believe.....

 Can you believe it is almost the end of the year!!!!  Like it will be December in 2 days!

I am ashamed to say I still do not have a lot of knitting to share and I really need to get my rear in gear....I have so many things I want to finish for Christmas!

I will give you my Family's Thanksgiving picture dump at the end of the post.

First, I got my amazing Advent Calendar from Darlene!!! This is my favorite gift every year!

I got my November Blanket Yarn

I got the pattern for the 2023 advent with Suburban Stitcher, but I am not sure if I am going to do this one, or the Anthology Throw.

The only thing I have knit on in a week (Someone seriously come kick my A$$) is one of Darlene's Christmas Presents

Its A......And Happy Thanksgiving!

We had the gender reveal this past Sunday.....Bizzle and Sam did a great job hostessing it at Paige's house.

GIRL!  I am so excited for Paige and Kody!

Paige and Bizz went to lunch last week and I had to steal the pic from social media....aren't my girls gorgeous!!

Well, I am embarassed to say I really have not done much knitting since the last time I posted here.....I have just been in a funk.....but I really need someone to kick my arse into gear because I have a lot of Christmas knitting I need to get done!

Here are the only 4 things I worked on.....and being that I worked on 4 things....very little progress has been made on each :(

Darlene got me my annual tea advent calendar that I love with mug.....here is this year's mug.  I do not have the calendar yet, but the mug came in yesterday.

My SNB group had Friendsgiving this past Saturday and this is the "utility" item that I made (when they said utility item, I had no clue what they meant, so I just went with a decor item).  Darlene stole this gnome (we play white elephant) to take home.

And I stole this pot holder trivet set that was made by Darlene to bring home :)

Earlier in the year, I purchased 2 yarn advent calendar that were delivered yesterday....

More Blanket Yarn

 Hey everyone......how are you?  I have been in a bit of a funk lately so I do not have much to share.

I did however buy more yarn for yet another baby blanket (seriously, how many blankets do I think this kid is going to need?).

I saw another blanket that I really like....it is in both a knit and crochet version.....they blanket patterns are from Purl Soho.  It is the four points blanket....here is the crochet version and here is the knit version:

And I already had some linen quill....here are all 9 colors of linen quill I have....not sure which 4 will make it into the blanket.

It was my late husband's birthday last Friday.  He would have been 59 (wow)!  Happy Heavenly Birthday Mario!

Honestly, that is all I have.....I know, I should have more, but like I said, I have been in a funk.  I hope to get out of it soon.  Have a great week everyone!

The FIVE Blankets....and some more blanket news!

 Hey everyone....how are you?  I have only worked on blankets lately......I have been a bit 'down' and trying to get some pep in my step.....

Here are the five blankets....the top of the crochet blankets was suppposed to be the neutral blanket, the colorway is called nutmeg nibbles, so I thought it would be 'brown', but it is coming out more mauve, so it looks more like a girl blanket...SMH

And speaking of blankets....Jimmy Beans Wool has given some teasers on next years blanket clubs....I was really hoping they would be ugly since I am so far behind.....but they are not.  Plus, they are really playing on my fomo with a brand new base.

I got my October Shawl Yarn.....

Paige finally announced her pregnancy with Kody on Social Media....which I was able to share on my social media pages.....

My step son came over for dinner last week (I got to meet his amazing girlfriend and I should have snapped a pic...but I totally forgot)....anyway, I made risotto for him (this is my family's verison of risotto, not the fancy stuff at restaurants) and when Paige heard, she wanted to come by to get some and traded tortilla soup with me.....I had it for lunch the next day and it was delicious

My nephew and girlfriend will forecver be the face of the Longhorns....this is the 2nd or 3rd time they have shows up on the official Texas Longhorns social media accounts....they are famous!

I got a beautiful picture of my granddaughter, Celeste, from her....I love it!  Can you beleive she will be 15 in a couple of weeks!!!

In the midst of buying a bunch of different yarn for my niece's cardigan, I ended up with a very large store credit amount to Four Purls Yarn Store in Winter Haven, Florida....It has recently become one of my favorite stores to shop at (they have an awesome online store in addition to a physical store)....they sell a TON of Emma's yarn (which I also have a slight addition to).  Well, I used some of that credit to get the Emmas Advent calendar....I bought this advent last year in the fingering weight, and this year I got it in the DK weight.....

Lastly, I have to share pics of one of my big baby.....one is of him with a huge toy (that he loves) and one is of him sleeping (he was actually snoring) in his favorite spot of the house....the window in Antonio's room
