A Sickly Post

Hey everyone....Can you believe it is almost Christmas?  I have been feeling a little under the weather and had a virtual visit with a dr yesterday and had testing today (Strep, Flu and Covid).  I am negative for all of those in the test....but they say a sore throat is a viral infection and my body should fight it off in a week or so......ARGH!!!  In a week or so it is Christmas and I do not want to be sick for Christmas!

I also knitted a hat for Erich's girlfriend in Scotland....I need to get it in the mail!

My amazing boyfriend, Lupe, got me more flowers.....I love them!

I should be able to post again before Christmas, but if not.....have a Very Merry Christmas!!

Its Getting Closer to Christmas!

 Hey everyone.....Are you done with your shopping?  I am not....but oh well.  

I hope you have been enjoying my Vlog-Vent series....I have enjoyed doing it.  Let me catch up on the last 8 days I have not shown here.....

I took Lupe to Bucees.....He has never been, he really enjoyed it.

We also went to Good Time Charlies so he could get a good chicken fried steak

His dad's birthday was yesterday so I knit him a hat.

I got some chunky yarn from Chelsea Yarns to make a hat

A Regular Blog Post!

 Hey everyone!  If you follow me you will notice I started an event called Vlog-Vent 202 in my blog.  I have wanted to do a "vlog" for years but was always just too chicken.....Well, I love Advent season and I have 3 advents this year, so I thought to myself "you need to suck it up and just do it"! so I did!  LOL!

However, I still wanted to post my regular blog stuff (some might be a small repeat of the vlog-vent).....so here I go.

I have been waiting for some yarn to come from Chelsea yarns to start my Frostina Poncho (the pattern provided by Chelsea Yarns).  Well, it came in!

Here are the first 2 days of my advents

Im plugging away on the poncho, but I had a question for the designer so I will wait for her reply till I post it (but you can probably check it out on my vlog vent day 3).

I finished my test knit....but you still have to wait just a little longer to see it.

I also finished a christmas present....it came out way better than I thought!

Lupe decorated the house beautifully!  I have not decorated my house with lights in YEARS!

And Lastly....the Longhorns Beat ATM!  We (the longhorns) are headed to the SEC championship this Saturday at 3 pm. Hook Em!  Oh.....here is a pick of the ATM coach during the game....LOL!
