Happy Veteran's Day!

 Hello everyone!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend!  I have been doing as much knitting as possible and I think my mojo is finally back.  Later today, I should have my 2 yarn advents delivered.  Chelsea yarns and Suburban Stitcher.  I was only going to do Chelsea yarns, but when I saw that Suburban Stitcher had greyscale pop, I thought I would have FOMO, so I ordered it too.

Tomorrow is Veteran's Day!  So to all who served, Happy Veteran's Day!

I also had a couple of yarny mail days.  I got this pink and black kit from Biscotte Yarns.....I just love it!

and I found these Barnyard Knits skiens on Facebook in a destash.....they are perfect!

As far as knitting goes, I did one clue on the test knit....I am waiting on next clue.  However, I got some other knitting in too.......I finished this hat:

Joji's One Love clue 2 came out so I finished clue 2 on both the shawls I am making.

I washed all dog beds this past week....I can never quite get the pillow to go back in evenly, but the dogs do not seem to mind....LOL!

Lupe and I went to Fredricksburg this past weekend and we did not get a single pic....but look at the amazing socks Lupe got me.....he knows me so well!!!

And this cutie had a Gymnastics event this past week.....isn't she adorable!

This past weekend, Lupe and I went on a hike at Pedernales Park.  We wanted to go back to Los Maples, but they were booked, so we have a reservation to go there on the 22nd.  So here is my photo dump from this past weekend.  I hope yall have a fabulous week!

I love falling back!

Happy Monday everyone......did you change your clocks?  I think this time change twice a year is crazy....but.....I love it in Fall when we "fall back" and gain an hour.

The health app from my watch/phone tells me how much I love it!  LOL!

I think a while back I told you that I found an adorable "Jack" from the nightmare before Christmas outfit for Amira.....well, it is even more adorable on her!

This is the outfit she wore to daycare and then she was Moana for Halloween evening, but Paige forget to get Moana pics.....Also, Antonio was not feeling well from Tuesday evening all the way to Friday....so he did not even go trick or treating.....poor guy....but the good news is he is finally feeling better.

It has also been a bit chilly here in South Texas.....this is me getting ready to walk the dogs the other day

and the house was so cold, I continued to wear the wallaby as I worked

I am not sure if I told you guys that Lupe gets points at work and then he can use those points to get things....well, he got a vacuuming robot....and I have to say....I am pretty impressed with how much it gets on a daily basis.....since it usually just goes around everything, I picked up all the dog beds so it could get to the corner of the living room.....it did very well.

Lupe also bought me a comforter from Coma Inducer.....If you like a big heavy blanket (like I do....but I have no clue why because I almost always sweat at night, but I sleep better with a big blanket)....then check out Coma inducer.....We went with a green and this thing is like 20 lbs.....and super soft and fluffy.  Flower is not suppose to be on the bed (except Friday nights when Lupe works late and then the dogs get in bed with me....but clearly she really likes this blanket...I was trying to sneak a pic from the living room but she caught me.

Now for the knitting......anyone else doing the Joji One Love MKAL?

I am......I was looking for a certain yarn and could not find it (surprise, surprise!)....so I used this yarn that Lupe picked....Darlene says it looks like Candy Corn and she is right.

Here is clue 1 completed.

Then I could not stop thinking of the skein I could not find......so I found it....LOL!  The colorway is called Carrie and I love it......so here is clue 1 finished with this one too.

I also worked on my test knit....sorry, no pics.

Guess Who's 14?!?!?!?!

Happy Birthday Antonio!  I cannot believe he is 14....but he is more amazing then I ever dreamed and the best big brother ever!!!

As far as knitting and crocheting, I finished one more pattern on the test knit (it was the only one I got this week), and I made some more squares for Antonio's blanket.....

I also changed the way I get my yarn....My yarn was getting too much dog hair and dust as it waited for me to pull it out of a project bag.....so, this was created.  It only holds 12 of 16, so 4 are in a ziplock bag.

I went to go see them this past Wednesday to give Antonio birthday cash from me, Lupe, and my sister....and I know you are not going to find this hard to believe, but I got a picture of Amira and not of Antonio.....typical me.  Here is Amira

She also got a pic snapped at her daycare and Paige shared it with me....she is so adorable!!!

I also got an adorable picture of Mia

I meal prepped a new breakfast that is delicious

and found a cool "wrap" online....made with cheese and pepperoni...then I put Turkey and Arugula inside.

Lastly, I worked on the sweater for Vera
