More than half way through the advent!

Hey everyone....how are you?  are you up to date on your advents?  I am only up to date on 2 of mine.  My Grayscale pop is only finished through day 6.....but my London Wrap and David's Tea advent are all up to date (I had to catch up on the wrap over the weekend).

Here are days 9-15

Lupe's Dad's birthday was this past Wednesday (the 10th) so I made him a hat

Lupe really liked it, so I am making him one now....LOL!

On Tuesday, we had Date Night and went to Fogo De Chao!  It was delicious!

I made a sushi bake during the week that was really good.

and Lupe got me the cutest keychain

on Sunday morning, I snuck in a picture of him spoiling Flower

We went to IKEA (Lupe had never been) and I got some lids for my rolling carts and some organization things for my desk drawer, etc.....I rearranged Antonio's blanket yarn from my cardboard box to my rolling cart....what do you think?  A project on wheels!

I finished the Advent Test knit and mailed Darlene her Christmas package.  I have to wait one more week to show you pictures because Brigit postponed the release to next Monday the 22nd.  Then I can show you pics.

Darlene got me some amazing Birkenstock Boston VL Shearling shoes....I love them.   I have never had a pair like these and they keep my feet warm (which is great since it is getting colder here).

Well....that is really all I have.  I hope you guys all have a great week!

Grinch Socks? Yes Please!

Hey everyone.  How are you?  I am crazy busy....I mean crazy busy.  I just started the 2nd to last pattern of my test knit so almost done.....yahoo!

Have you heard of the Grinch Box Meals at McDonalds?  I am sure you have....I am probably the last to know and the only reason I know is because Darlene always keeps me up to date on the most important news!

So, in this Grinch box, you can get nuggets or a Big Mac and the box comes with fries and grinch salt (pickle flavor), a bag to put the fries and salt in and shake and......wait for it......Grinch Socks.

Tami was the first to get her socks....Bright Green (these are my fave)!

Then Mary and I both got Red

Then Shyla and Peyton got Blue

Lastly, Lupe surprised me with a 2nd box and I got Yellow!

I have no clue if there are other colors.....but I think they are adorable!

My advents are keeping me busy.  I am offically up to date on my 2 yarn advents through day 6.  I am up to date (today) with my Chelsea Yarns and Davids Tea advent.  Here are pics

Day 1 Chelsea yarns The London Wrap finished

 Following Days:

So....one day this past week was cookie day...and I definitely had cookies, but I did not get pics.  I had Crumble and Panera cookies....but, I also tried to cook healthy....here is one pic I did capture of some shrimp and veggies that was delicious (but not as delicious as cookies)

We also went shopping at Costco....whenever we go to Costco....we get this EVERY time.....and every time it is $3.78.

Lupe got a new jacket and hat from his work....I love it, and it looks great on him!

We went to my parent's house so my mom could teach Lupe how to make her famous cheesecake

Here it is all done

We also went to  5 below and I found everything Bluey for Amira

I gave Amira a Bluey Advent Calendar....each day she gets to open a new small book....it is the coolest advent calendar I have ever seen and she loves it....and books!

Lupe and I also went to a big lights display not to far from our home....its free and it was packed.  It has been put on for years, but this was our first time going.  It was a lot of fun.

Lastly, I went to Ped's and Sam's son, Caleb, had put some words of wisdom on the board I thought I would share.

That is really all I have.....I hope you all have a great week!
