Happy Easter!

Hey everyone!  I hope you had a fabulous Easter Holiday!

I have been busy so I am gonna jump to it......first some yarn I got for a new baby blanket along with some rope yarn to try on those basket boards.

I saw my family for an early Easter dinner this past Saturday and the evening before, they went to a Longhorn Baseball game.  They took a fabulous pic that I wanted to share

Knitting and Crocheting.....I worked on my Hap (baby blanket).  I am officially decreasing.

I worked on Nia's magic blanket

Unfortunately, Mia's brain tumor was cancer, so she starts chemo today....I have been making her some hats

and Lupe's niece loved Lupe's mom's hat...so I am making her one.

I also got to see Tone and Amira for Easter....look how cute.  I did not get pic of Tone, but Paige took him to hit balls today so I stole a pic from her instagram.

That is all I have...have a great week

I am loving Spring!

Hey everyone!  I hope you are loving the Spring weather (and flowers) as much as me.  I am going to jump right in.

I do not have much.....but I have 2 fo's.

The blanket for Casey and its million (okay, 102) ends!

and the 2nd hat for Lana (it's called Jupiter Beanie)

I have been doing a fitness challenge and I won a random drawing.....$10 Starbucks card!

I also got in the rope yarn I wanted to make Amira a basket.  I ordered a board for Amira and Antonio (I have other rope yarn for Antonio).

But it is not coming along as I expected.

I got some other rope yarn to play with and see what I like best...but trial and error is not my favorite thing to do.

I honestly do not have anymore....I am sorry for a short post.  I hope to have more next week.

Have a great week!

Its Advent Season in April (plus a follow up on Feb 18th's Exciting New Project to Cast On)!!!

Hey everyone!  How are you?  Well, it is Advent Season.  Meaning, it is time to order the advents that will ship out in November.  Nothing like paying for something 7 months before you get it...LOL!

Did you order any??  I got 2.  Chelsea Yarns and Suburban Stitcher

Some of all that yarn I ordered has started to trickle in.....

(the above colors are ot true...pretty blown out.  Last week's post is better)

This pink yarn came from Amazon......I swatched it..and it is a bit thinner than I thought.  So I ordered a little more so I can hold it double for a baby blanket.

The turquoise yarn I bought last week was for making hats for Lupe's mom for her birthday (the 16th), but we took her to her radiation treatment yesterday and she needs hats now....so first one done

This is the 2nd item finished in April.  I wanted to finish Coley's shawl in March, but it was my first finished object in April (just need to weave in 2 ends)

I started a new crochet blanket

I started the Hap (baby blanket) for the Woolly Thistle KAL (#2025twtshawlkal)

and one more hat for Lupe's mom

I also cranked a blan to make her socks.  However, the yarn pooled

So I recranked a looser, but I think it is too loose.

I might make these for my mom, and then re-crank the rest of the yarn for Lupe's mom...Im still thinking about it.

The person I am the fiber fairy for got her birthday present.  Plus we had a bit of a cold spell so she has been able to wear it this week.  She knows I am her fiber fairy because I messed up the very first month.....but it is still fun getting her stuff

Well, that is really all I have.  I have been doing a fitness challenge and had to post some meals....so I thought I would share here too....of course, Lupe cooked them (not me).

Oh...I almost forgot....Lupe and I went to a San Antonio FC (football (which is really soccer) club) game.  We had a great time even if we lost.

Man am I forgetful because I almost posted this without updating you on Grace's sweater...She loves it and it looks fabulous on her!!!!

Have a great week everyone.  And shout out to Paula H for the funny sheep meme.
